Gayhurst: St Peter

Gayhurst Ct. Gayhurst Milton Keynes
01908 615974

St Peters Gayhurst is a small 18th Century church, originally built to serve the country seat of the Wrighte family.

It contains the original box pews.

It shares a rector (and services) with others in the 'Gate' Group - Ravenstone, Weston Underwood, and Stoke Goldington, all of which are adjacent villages/hamlets, and also with the Lavendon Group - originally a further grup of four, but two have amalgamated, so the Rector now serves seven Parishes.  The Rector is based in Lavendon.

Gayhurst uses the Book of Common Prayer, the others Common Worship.

Times and service details may vary but average one each month. This is generally HC.  For details of services on a particular Sunday please contact the Churchwarden Arthur Adams on 01908 611489

The schedule of GATE Group services is published in the Gate Group News magazine.

Note: the Church is approx 1/2 mile from the road and there are no parking or other facilities.
